The Taj Mahal is tucked away in a part of Garmisch that weekenders from the nearby Edelweiss Lodge and Resort are unlikely to come across unless they're actually looking for it. Good, tasty Indian cuisine, with great customer service, a comprehensive menu and familiar Indian folk tunes overhead. This is a good choice for a family meal out if you're looking to try something a little further off the beaten track. We particularly liked the Indian Lobster Soup with Sherry, the tender Fish Pakoras, the Botti Kebab (tender, spiced lamb skewers) and the Tandoori Chicken.
